That the samd blating to remove the rust on metal surface, which uses the compressed air  as the power, is the common method for surface treatment.  The abrasives, such as garnet sand, copper slag, quartz sand, brown fused alimina and  iron powder, etc , are widely used as the blasting media to form the high speed flow with air to remove the rust or oxided pieces from the workpiece.
 
for the blasting of surface treatment, the following rules must be obeyed:
1. all workers must wear the protctive suits and at least 2 workers needed for one shift.
2. air tank, compress instrument and all valves must be checked before work.
3. start the  ventilation and dust collecttion equipment  5 minutes earlier before the work
4. air compress valve must be opend slowly and the max working compressure should be less 0.8Mpa
