The advantages of Garnet abrasive in the sandblasting

Garnet have strong chemical inert, high melting point, good toughness, insoluble in water, acid solubility is only 1%, basically does not contain free silicon, it also with high physical impact resistance;  high hardness, sharper edges, grinding force and specific gravity, it can be recycled.  
 
At present, sandblasting and grinding market, a large number of materials such as silica sand, slag and coal slag are used, which is easy to cause silica dust and seriously pollute the environment.  
And garnet, basically no above shortcomings, and the supply is stable, the material is clean, suitable for sandblasting grinding materials, now it has been partially replaced by silica sand.
