According to Worldometer real-time statistics, as of 6:30 PM Beijing time on October 31, there were 24,709,6369 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 509,734 deaths worldwide.  Globally, 393,427 new confirmed cases and 6,180 new deaths were reported in a single day.  
 
Britain, Russia, Ukraine, the United States and Turkey are the five countries with the highest number of new cases, according to the data.  Russia, Ukraine, India, the Philippines and Romania are the five countries with the highest number of new deaths.
