The origin of March 8 womens Day

In August 1910, advanced women of some countries held the second international socialist womens Congress in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. The German Socialist revolutionist zeitkin, who presided over the conference, proposed that March 8 of each year be the world womens struggle day. The Congress unanimously adopted this proposal and decided that March 8 of each year be the international womens day.

Since then, March 8 has become a great festival for working women all over the world to fight for peace, the rights of women and children, and womens liberation.
